Yesterday at Studio Moirae we were fortunate enough to host yet another one of Michael Willems workshops on advanced flash photography. The big difference was that this time we were visited by David Honl. It was a fantastic class! The class spent a couple hours learning the technical side of flash photography, and then they went out and put it to the test. It was great seeing what you can photograph using a few pocket wizards as well as some great light modifiers provided by David Honl. (Most were testing the new techniques they had just learned, but Christy found her 15 minutes of fame in front of the camera and became their model for a while.)
Here are a few of the shots from through out the day, and then some really fun ones after we added in a few beach cruisers, an alley, and a lot of character. By far one of the most fun workshops we have yet to host or attend. Can’t wait for the next one!
