Back From Paradise | 18 Months

Today being our first day back to reality after 9 days away in Kauai has been a productive one. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this image I took of our 18 month old. Everyone thought I was crazy until they got to see it for their self on the back of my camera. After seeing this beautiful beach I knew this was a shot I had to have of my son. One that he was about to grow out of. Give or take 15 seconds ago. (smirk) I will truly treasure this image forever! And as an added bonus, I couldn’t believe I caught the runners running by so perfectly! LOVE! More to come within the next couple of weeks!

I can’t believe she’s a year old already. I’ve been photographing Esme since her 30 day birthday. The one year session is always so fun because they are full of laughter, curiosity and have that crazy cute toddle! Esme was all of that and more.

We wanted to zero in on dad in this session. And she is all about her dad right now! Need I say how cute they are together? I’m not sure who did more laughing during this session, Esme or dad!

Bitter sweet is how I felt leaving this final session. I was so incredibly happy with all we have captured over Esme’s first year but sad to see it come and go so quickly. It seems like just last month I was meeting them all for the first time.

Thank you both for inviting me into your life this past year. I’ve really enjoyed every second of it!!!
